Windows 10 , an another Operating system
yet a mixture of its two predecessor windows 8 and win XP ,still beautifully crafted and well equipped with beautiful applications
But,All my excitement was soon flushed out after using my new upgraded version of Windows
>soon after upgrading to new version all I could find was all my favorite application being replaced by Windows default apps
Out of which few that got into my nerves are :
Antivirus was replaced by windows defender which mostly all of us know how good it is in defending anything
On detecting a trojan Defender didn't even prompt but rather deleted all my favorites stuffs in one my external drive
Does windows have any default recovery tools/apps ?
VLC player was replaced by windows default ,which lags while playing HD videos or sometimes even songs
Windows before overriding the existing application to default/inbuilt one ,should at least consider asking users their choice once ..
Luckily later I found a way to overcome my problem but sadly had to reinstall all my apps again
2) privacy : personally,I think windows being a desktop application doesn't need locational information and other information which seem totally silly and useless
GUI: graphical user interface
The GUI of windows 10 is just a simple combination of windows XP and windows 8
The start although was made pretty good and user friendly
But the file explorer option seems to be very simple GUI of windows XP
Soon after all this ,I realised my upgrade to windows 10 was a very bad choice ,since all the major changes in it were not even close to that of features windows 7
Keeping all features of windows 10 in mind,I personally feel that it is more over for mobile platforms rather than desktop
I personally feel that windows should make their desktop O.S. very different from their mobile platforms
And hoping that for their next O.S they wont be changing the meaning privacy
But since on giving it a second thought ,windows 10 is exceptionally more user friendly compared to windows 8 and windows 8.1
